This isn’t a dressed-up GT
It starts with the same 5.0L Coyote V8 as the GT… and then Ford tore into it. Stronger connecting rods. A unique ECU tune. A redline pushed all the way to 7,500rpm. The result is 500 naturally-aspirated horsepower, no turbo, no supercharger, just a loud V8 doing it the proper way. The MagneRide adaptive suspension that’s a pricey option on lesser models comes standard here. This is a road car that was very clearly built with a racetrack in mind… with a drift handbrake!
And we’re not handing it over stock
Here’s where it gets fun, we’re building this thing up and making it more ‘ACC’. The Mustang Dark Horse is cool but it’s not us. We think the car can be a little bit better. The wheels are too small and it sits way too high. To fix this problem, here’s what we are going to do:
- We are installing brand-new custom 20-inch Koya Australia wheels (plus some fresh rubber to go with them). Koya is an Australia based business… probably the only local company that makes wheels so yeah, that’s who we choose to support.
- Adding a 1-inch lowering kit, professionally fitted by Racing Dynamics Perth, simply the ones who got our back regarding the mods on our cars!
- Your choice of wrap colour from our range, laid down by the team at MAS Project WA. Red, purple, blue, whatever colour suits you…covered by us.
So whoever wins doesn’t just get a Dark Horse. They get a Dark Horse built to turn heads and finished in a colour they picked themselves, to give it a personal touch.
